How to access

  • View Events: Dashboard → Events (or sidebar menu)
  • Create Event: Events → Create Event button
  • Configure Module: Settings → Events

Module Settings

Navigate to SettingsEvents to configure:

Event Configuration

  • Who Can Create Public Events - Permission level required
  • Training Event Type - Default type for trainings
  • General Meeting Event Type - Default type for meetings
  • Attendance Confirmation - Require RSVPs
  • Custom Statuses - Enable custom event statuses

Ticketing & Payments

  • Online Ticket Payments - Enable Stripe payments for tickets

Reporting & Analytics

  • Event Reports - Enable post-event reports
  • Annual Reports - Generate yearly summaries
  • National/Local Reports - Reports by geographic level

  • SDG Tagging - Tag events with UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Attendance Reminders - Auto-remind hosts to record attendance
  • Bulk Invites - Send invitations to all group members

Event Workflow

Create event

Fill in event details: title, date, location, description.

Configure registration

Set up tickets (free or paid), capacity limits, and registration fields.

Publish

Make the event visible to members or the public.

Manage registrations

Track who signed up, send reminders, manage waitlists.

Check-in attendees

Use QR codes or manual check-in on event day.

Create report

Document the event with photos, attendee count, and notes.

Quick Tips

Start by creating Event Types to categorize your events. This makes filtering and reporting much easier.
Use the public event page feature to share events on social media - each event gets a shareable link.
To enable paid tickets, you must first set up Stripe in SettingsPayments.
