Local Centers (also called Local Groups or Chapters) represent geographic divisions of your organization. They allow members to connect and collaborate with others in their area while maintaining connection to the national organization.

What are Local Centers

Local Centers provide:
  • Geographic organization - Divide your organization by location
  • Local autonomy - Each center has its own discussions, events, and files
  • Local administration - Dedicated admins manage local activities
  • Member assignment - Members belong to their local chapter

Creating a Local Center

Enter name, select town/location, and choose region if applicable.

Local Administration

Local Admin Roles

  • ADMIN_LOCAL - Full administrative access to the local center
  • HR_LOCAL - Member management within the local center
  • FINANCIAL_LOCAL - Financial management for the local center

What Local Admins Can Do

  • Manage local discussions, events, and files
  • Edit center information
  • Manage local members
  • View local reports
  • Process local fees (if enabled)

Waitlist Management

Local Centers can have capacity limits:

Best Practices

Use consistent naming conventions across Local Centers.
Fill in all contact information and addresses for each center.
Ensure each center has active local administrators.
Keep center information current, especially contact details.
Encourage local discussions and events to build community.
