Every event in Orgo can have a public page - a shareable link that anyone can access to view event details and register, even without an Orgo account.

What’s on the Public Page

The public event page displays:
  • Hero image - Event cover photo
  • Event title and description
  • Date and time - With timezone
  • Location - Address or online link
  • Organizer info - Group/organization name
  • Registration form - If ticketing is enabled
  • Ticket options - Available tickets with prices

Customization Options

When editing an event, access page settings to customize appearance:

Visual Settings

Show your organization’s logo on the event page.

Sharing the Event

Getting the Public URL

  1. Open the event
  2. Click Public URL button
  3. Copy the link

Where to Share

  • Social media - Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram
  • Email campaigns - Include in newsletters
  • Website - Link from your organization’s website
  • QR codes - Generate QR codes for posters/flyers

You can embed the registration form on external websites:

Public vs Members-Only

Public Events

  • Accessible to anyone with the link
  • No login required to view
  • Can register as guest
  • Appears in public event listings (if enabled)

Members-Only Events

  • Requires login to view full details
  • Public page may show limited info
  • Registration requires membership
  • Can still have a public URL (redirects to login)

SEO and Social Sharing

Public event pages are optimized for sharing:

Open Graph Tags

When shared on social media, your event shows:
  • Event title
  • Description preview

Search Engines

Public events can be indexed by search engines (Google, Bing) based on your settings.

Best Practices

The hero image is the first thing visitors see. Use high-quality, relevant images.
Include: what, when, where, who should attend, and what they’ll get from it.
Only require fields you actually need. More fields = fewer registrations.
Open the public URL in an incognito/private window to see what visitors see.
Use color customization to match your organization’s branding.
