The Organisation Info page is where you define the core identity of your organization in Orgo. This information is used throughout the platform - in headers, footers, emails, and member communications.

How to access

Basic Information

Organisation Name

The full official name of your organization. This appears in the platform header, emails, and official documents.
shortName

A shortened version of your organization name. Used in places where space is limited, such as mobile navigation or compact headers.
Example:
  • Name: “International Scout Federation of Romania”
  • Short Name: “ISFR”

Location Settings

Select the country where your organization is headquartered. This affects default timezone suggestions and regional formatting.

Your organization’s primary timezone. All event times, scheduled emails, and date displays will use this timezone by default.

Enable this if your organization operates across multiple countries. When enabled, the country field label changes to “Country Headquarter” to indicate it’s the primary location.

Default Language

Members can change their personal language preference in their profile settings. The default language applies to new members and public pages.

Your organization’s phone number. Select the country code first, then enter the phone number.

Compliance URLs

Link to your organization’s Privacy Policy or GDPR compliance page. This link is displayed in the platform footer and during user registration.

Link to your Terms of Service for members. Displayed during registration and in the platform footer.
If you collect personal data from EU residents, you are required to have a Privacy Policy. Make sure these URLs point to valid, accessible pages.
Your organization’s legal registration number (e.g., company registration number, nonprofit ID, VAT number).

Financial Settings

Currency

The default currency for your organization. Used for membership fees, event tickets, products, and all financial transactions.Orgo supports 100+ currencies including EUR, USD, GBP, RON, CHF, and more.

The symbol displayed alongside prices (e.g., €, $, £, RON). This is automatically set when you select a currency but can be customized.

Bank Account Details

If you accept bank transfers for payments, add your IBAN details:

Bank details are displayed to members when they choose to pay via bank transfer. Make sure these are accurate to avoid payment issues.

Social Media

Connect your organization’s social media profiles. These links are displayed in the platform footer and can be used in newsletters.

Saving Changes

After making changes:
  1. Click the Save button in the top right corner
  2. Wait for the confirmation message
  3. Changes take effect immediately across the platform

Best Practices

Members may reach out using the contact details you provide. Make sure the email and phone are actively monitored.
Your organization name should match what appears on your official documents and website for recognition and trust.
All scheduled events and communications use your organization’s timezone. Choose the timezone where most of your members are located.
