Products are the foundation of all payments in Orgo. Whether you’re collecting membership fees, accepting donations, or selling merchandise, everything starts with creating a product.

Product Types

Orgo supports different product types for different payment scenarios:

Creating a Product

Navigate to Products

Go to Settings → Fees → Products.

Click Create Product

Select the type of product to create.

Enter basic information

Fill in name, description, and upload a logo/image.

Configure payment options

Set up pricing, subscriptions, and billing cycles.

Save

Save to create the product.

Price Tiers

Each product can have multiple price tiers:

Creating Price Tiers

  1. Open the product
  2. Go to Prices tab
  3. Click Add Price
  4. Enter:
    • Tier name (e.g., “Student”, “Regular”, “Family”)
    • Amount
    • Currency
  5. Save

Example Tier Structure

Membership Fee Product

Product Options

Add customizable options to products:
  1. Open the product
  2. Go to Options tab
  3. Create options like:
    • T-shirt size
    • Meal preference
    • Workshop selection
Options allow members to customize their purchase.

Public Payment Pages

Each product can have a public page for accepting payments:

Products can be created at the Local Center level:

Create a fee product with yearly billing cycle and multiple tiers for different member types.
Set up a fee with monthly period and automatic recurring billing.

Use event-type product with multiple price tiers for different ticket types.
Set up commerce products with options for sizes/colors.

Best Practices

Use descriptive names that clearly indicate what the product is and what period it covers.
Include all relevant details about what’s included and any terms.
Create price tiers that match your organization’s membership structure.
Archive old products instead of deleting to preserve payment history.
